Internal reviews, mandated by Senate, are intended to assist departments and programs in demonstrating and improving their performance and quality. Reviews are required by the Ontario government. The University is audited at ten-year intervals to assure the Minister that they are being conducted according to Senate policy. Responsibility for the reviews rests with the Standing Committee on Internal Reviews (SCIR).
